Freek van Leijen graduated for his masters degree in september 2002. His thesis concerned the stochastic modeling of the tropospheric variability. After a year of travelling, he is continuing his degree as a PhD-student. He is currently involved in InSAR research.

Andrew Newman received his B.S. in Geophysics in 1995 from Texas Tech University, and an M.S. then Ph.D. from Northwestern University in 2000. He held postdoctoral researcher/fellow positions at University of California Santa Cruz from 2000-2002 and Los Alamos National Laboratory from 2002-2005. In 2005, Andrew moved to the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he is currently an Assistant Professor in Geophysics in the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. Andrew started visiting the RSMAS Geodesy lab as a graduate student in 1998 and continues to make near-annual trips to collaborate with others and reduce GPS data. Edmundo Norabuena

Christina Plattner received her Diplome degree in Geography, Geophysics and Geology from the Ludwig-Maximilians University of Munich, Germany in 2005. She is now a graduate student and her research focusses on the application of GPS to study tectonic processes. Her current research area is the Baja California.
